Bulgaria’s Sprint adds four FilmBox channels

Bulgarian telco Sprint is set to add four FilmBox-branded channels to its programming line-up.

The four networks, which are operated by content distributer SPI International, include movie channels FilmBox HD and FilmBox Plus HD.

The other two are documentary channel DocuBox HD and sports channel FightBox HD. All four will be available on the Sprint HD package.

“Bulgaria is a very important market for us as we want to increase our presence in this country and grow the awareness of our channels among the Bulgarian TV viewers,” said Berk Uziyel, executive director of Filmbox International.

“Both FilmBox HD and FilmBox Plus HD channels have been localised for Bulgaria so local movie fans can now enjoy top quality cinema entertainment in their language.”

FilmBox brand channels are distributed by Filmbox International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kino Polska TV, whose majority stakeholder is SPI International.  SPI currently operates more than 30 FilmBox channels on four continents.
