Vodafone España will launch a 300Mbps internet service both for converged fixed and mobile customers and for Fibra Ono cable customers in July, according to local reports.
Vodafone’s move follows rival Telefónica’s planned launch of a 300Mbps service as part of its Movistar Fusión offering at the beginning of June.
Vodafone had earlier announced that it would provide a 200Mbps service as part of its Vodafone One converged offering. Subscribers to that service will see their downstream speeds raised automatically at the end of the month for no extra charge. Ono 200Mbps broadband-only customers will also see their downstream speed rise to 300Mbps.
