Telemach to upgrade mobile network

United Group-owned Slovenian cable operator Telemach has announced plans to upgrade the mobile network of mobile service provider Tušmobil following its acquisition of the company.

Telemach plans to complete the upgrade of the network by the end of August, extending 3G coverage to 99% of the country, with plans to extend LTE coverage to 75% of the Slovenian population by the end of the year.

Huawei will provide technology for the upgrade, which has begun this month in the coastal region, with plans to upgrade the Gorenjska region in June.
