Hungarian service provider Invitel has added seven live streaming TV channels from channel provider SPI International/Filmbox to its programming line-up, along with a catalogue of movies, documentaries, sports programming, fashion and music videos on demand.
Invitel is to carry three Hungarian movie channels – FilmBox, FilmBox Family and FilmBox HD – as well as the FilmBox Arthouse channel, martial arts channel Fightbox, extreme sports channel Fast&FunBox and music service 360TuneBox.
Invitel customers will have access to the FilmBox Live service using their smartphones, tablets, PCs, Smart TVs and even game consoles.
Features on the service include adaptive streaming, a Playlist function to allow users to create a favourite playlist, Resum Play allowing viewers to pause content, and the same look and feel on each screen.
“FilmBox Live is a top online entertainment service offering users a great variety of content which they can enjoy on any Internet-connected device. We are excited to deliver FilmBox Live to Invitel customers and to expand our subscriber base in Hungary,” said Tamas Fulop, SPI/FilmBox country manager in Hungary.
