Preschool kids SVOD service Hopster has launched on Apple TV.
The on-demand service, which started in the UK but is rolling out internationally, is available on Apple’s TV service in the UK for £3.99 (€5.40) a month. There is also a week-long free trial available.
Existing Hopster subs can also use the service on Apple.
The Apple service also has a ‘discover’ mode that groups episodes from different shows together according to curriculum-based categories including ‘Friends & Family’ and ‘Animals’.
Nick Walters, Hopster founder and CEO, said: “We¹re using the simplicity of Apple TV to curate our shows in a unique way to help kids discover all of Hopster¹s amazing content. And since it’s all under one subscription, they can hop from the big screen to the small screen seamlessly when they feel like getting active with our fun learning games.”
Hopster launched in 2013. Last month it secured a package of content form DreamWorks and launched an Android app.
