International news channel France 24 has launched a new Android TV application compatible with the Google Nexus player and other devices equipped with the Google operating system such as OTT boxes and smart TVs.
Available for free on Google Play, this new service is already available in North America, France, Germany and the UK. It will be accessible in the rest of the world by the end of 2015.
The application is available in French, English and Arabic ans been designed for navigation on TV. It offers access to France 24’s content in three languages and provides news bulletins on demand covering World news, African news, business news, sport and weather. Magazine programming and debates are available on demand.
The app also allows users to personalise their navigation via a favourites function.
