The award is open to anyone with less than three years’ experience working within the technical side of broadcasting or its related industries.
“With the rise of on-demand services, communication and technology is more important to television than ever before,” said Terry Marsh, chair of the RTS Young Technologist Award jury.
The deadline for award applicants is May 11, and the winner will receive a trip to the IBC Conference in Amsterdam and a pass to the RTS Cambridge Convention 2015.
