T-Mobile Czech Republic taps Allegro DVT for mobile TV

T-Mobile Czech Republic has partnered with digital video technology firm Allegro DVT for the launch of its new mobile TV platform. 

T-Mobile has selected Allegro DVT’s AL2400 transcoders to deliver its live multiscreen IPTV channels. The OTT delivery system handles transcoding and packaging in all OTT TV formats, and integrates with encryption, subtitling and ad insertion ecosystem.

T-Mobile’s subscribers can now watch 49 live services on their mobile devices via dedicated iOS and Android apps.
