Channel 4 has upped its existing media project manager for nations and regions, Ian MacKenzie, to the newly created role of nations and regions manager.
The appointment comes after Channel 4’s director of creative diversity, Stuart Cosgrove, announced last month that he is stepping down.
MacKenzie will report to Channel 4’s deputy chief creative officer and head of factual, Ralph Lee, and will be responsible for “maximising the commissioning potential and delivery” of production companies based outside of London in working with Channel 4.
