Quality assurance technology provider IneoQuest has launched a new platform to deliver behavioural and operational data directly from endpoint devices to IneoQuest’s Audience Measurement Platform for Adaptive Streaming.
The Endpoint Analytics SDK is designed, according to IneoQuest, to give operators real-time visibility into the customer experience, providing the necessary information to understand the customer’s behaviour when impacted by service issues.
IneoQuest describes the SDK as a lightweight client proxy software library that can be integrated into a service provider’s media player.
“We don’t believe that switching CDN’s to solve quality issues is the optimal approach to improving the customer experience. Our approach is to provide real-time visibility into what is causing quality issues in the network and the video stream and fix those issues before they negatively impact the customer viewing experiences,” said Joel Daly, senior director of product management and marketing at IneoQuest. “
“We are very excited to launch our Endpoint Analytics SDK to help address the growing market need for visibility into end device consumption of OTT content. We believe our video analytics solution is a game-changer in the industry as it correlates operational and behavioral data providing a completely new framework for monetisation and proactive churn management.”
