New finance and development chief for Canal+

Canal+ has named Sébastian de Gasquet as finance and development director fort its free TV activities, reporting to group finance director Grégoire Castaing.

De Gasquet will also work closely with Ara Aprikian, Canal+’s deputy CEO in charge of free TV activities, which comprise its D8, D17 and iTele digital-terrestrial channels, and Roger Coste, CEO of Canal+’s advertising arm.

De Gasquet previously worked for Canal+ as director of group president Bertrand Meheut’s office. Prior to joining the pay TV operator in 2009 he worked in a number of government and EC roles.
