Belgian cable operator Voo is using Nagra’s MediaLive multiscreen TV platform to deliver its cloud-based multiscreen offering, Be TV Go.
Voo customers can sign up online to access the Be TV Go OTT service throughout Belgium, and the service is open to non-cable customers. Be TV Go streams live and on-demand content including exclusive US and European series and movies, over the internet to a variety of devices including PCs, iOS and Android tablets and the Microsoft Xbox One game console.
Content is secured through the use of Nagra anyCAST PRM, Nagra’s DRM solutions, pre-integrated into the Nagra MediaLive multiscreen solution, according to Nagra.
“This new multiscreen TV offering supports our goal and vision of delivering an exclusive pay TV streaming service to the entire Belgian market,” said Christian Loiseau, deputy general manager of Be TV.
“Nagra has proven expertise in the multiscreen pay-TV space via its MediaLive solution deployed as a cloud managed service, and their teams have provided us with great support in defining, scoping and executing the service launch.”
