The Channel4.com/distribution site features a searchable catalogue of the content that Channel 4 offers for sale to other channels, along with programme information and links so that programming teams can view programmes via 4oD.
“The launch builds on Channel 4’s long-standing UK programme distribution activity – combining the licensing of its extensive programme archive, with more recent shows sold in partnership with independent producers,” said the broadcaster.
Channel 4’s head of distribution Carl Pfeiffer added that the site will help Channel 4 to “work with more producers across the sector who are looking to grow revenue.”
