Liberty Global has struck a deal with data processing and video optimisation firm Conviva, which will provide audience and quality reporting for Liberty’s Horizon TV.
Conviva will ensure quality of experience for Liberty Global’s multi-screen Horizon Go offering, which lets viewers watch live and on-demand content across different devices. Horizon Go is currently live in seven European countries with more launches due to follow.
Conviva claims that it provides detailed insights into the customer viewing experience, offering aggregated information needed to control video delivery.
“When looking to deliver high quality video to a large audience across several countries and devices, it is critical content providers have real-time visibility and control of the video delivery and viewer experience,” said Ian Franklyn, General Manager, EMEA for Conviva.
