German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has chosen CDN provider Level 3 to provide additional content delivery services across its ProSiebenSat.1 Digital, ProSiebenSat.1 Games, ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion and Maxdome business units.
ProSiebenSat.1 Digital has added Level 3’s dynamic content packaging to its existing Level 3 CDN services, enabling it to tailor its on-demand video and ProSiebenSat.1 TV broadcasts to user devices such as computers, smartphones and tablets. On-demand service Maxdome is also using these services.
ProSiebenSat.1 Games is using Level 3’s distributed denial of service (DDOS) mitigation technology, while ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion is using Level 3 High-Speed IP services.
“We have been working with ProSiebenSat.1 since 2009, becoming a key supplier to the group,” said Gerald Rubant, director Sales, Enterprise Business Germany & Northern Europe at Level 3. “While we grow our business with ProSiebenSat.1, our objective remains the same: to continue delivering solutions that enhance their strategic business development by helping them increase their competitive edge.”
