Reuters is due to launch its multi-platform, on-demand, video news service Reuters TV early next year.
Launching a holding site for the service ahead of its full launch in 2015, Reuters said it would offer “your news when you want it, straight from the source and made to fit your day.”
Reuters TV will offer programmes ranging from five to 30 minutes in length, along with “images and insights” from more than 2,500 journalists.
Users will also be able to customise the service so that they can watch a news show tailored to their interests and location and interact using the social web.
