Russian broadcasters CTC Media has named Oleg Kuzmin as chief strategic communications officer.
Kuzmin’s responsibilities will include development and implementation of the Company’s PR strategy and communications policy, investor relations, external and internal communications, corporate social responsibility and communications support for the TV channels’ projects. He was previously vice-president of corporate communications at steel and mining group Evraz and has held a number of other senior roles including director of corporate affairs at pipe and wheel producer Interpipe and head of external relations and communications at Eurocement.

Today the media and entertainment industry provides plenty of opportunity for development, and communications are extremely necessary in a period when the industry faces difficult challenges. I am convinced that together we will be able not only to enhance the Company’s image, but to achieve a new level of communication with our target audience,” said Kuzmin.
