German pay TV provider Sky Deutschland has agreed a multi-year extension to its programming agreement with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
The long-term contract includes on-demand rights for new movies during their pay TV window as well as exclusive pay TV rights to all Warner movies across several platforms.
This means films such as Horrible Bosses 2, Magic in the Moonlight and Mad Max: Fury Road will be available to Sky Deutschland customers.
“Warner Bros. has been one of Sky’s closest and strongest partners for years,” said Sky Deutschland’s executive VP, programming Gary Davey. “And now we’re pleased to announce a multi-year extension.”
