Vivendi eyes purchase of L’Express

Canal+ owner Vivendi is in talks to buy news magazine L’Express, according to French press reports.

Le Journal du Dimanche has reported that L’Express’s Belgian owner Routala is in advanced talks with Vivendi president Vincent Bolloré about a sale. Bolloré has focused on re-focusing Vivendi around its media business.

According to the JDD, L’Express is valued at under €25 million.
