Quest goes on-demand on YouView

Free-to-air factual entertainment channel Quest has launched an on-demand player on the YouView platform in the UK.

Quest programmes – such as Dangerous with Omid Djalili, Salvage Hunters and Robson Green: Extreme Fisherman – will be available through the Quest OD player and on YouView’s seven-day scroll back programming guide.

Quest OD was built by the newly-launched connected solutions business of communications infrastructure company Arqiva.

“We’re delighted Quest has decided to launch its catch up player on YouView. This adds even more great on demand content to our seamless and easy to use TV service for our customers to enjoy,” said YouView CEO Richard Halton.

The launch comes after Quest debuted its video on-demand player online in August on the Quest TV website.
