Liberty Global-owned satellite pay TV unit UPC DTH has added three channels to its offerings, which cover the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
UPC DTH has added Comedy Central Extra to its UPC Direct, freeSAT and Focus Sat services in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
Paramount Movie Channel will be also added to the UPC Direct services in Hungary and Focus Sat services in Romania, while UPC DTH will also begin offering Nick Jr to UPC Direct subscribers in Hungary.
Comedy Central Extra will be available as part of Plus package and Paramount Movie Channel as part of the Medium package. Customers will be able to access Nick Jr as part of the Plus package provided they have a new Humax-supplied HD-capable set-top or DVR.
“We are pleased to further enrich our line-up through the addition of Comedy Central Extra in all our markets, Paramount Movie Channel in both Hungary and Romania and finally Nick Jr in Hungary. This will further enhance our already rich packages of channels giving our customers more choice that will satisfy their whole family. This is a continuation of the UPC Direct commitment to quality without compromise,” said Zoltan Pinkola, regional director of sales and business development.
