Rights management company Compact Media Group has partnered with cloud based video content management and delivery platform Octopus TV to cross-promote each other’s businesses.

Compact and Octopus TV will promote each businesses’ services to their individual client bases, with Compact to offer its clients a full trial of the full Octopus system.

“Increasingly, our clients are enquiring about the impact of digital technology on their business models. This ranges from monetising content in digital form through to archive and delivery services,” said David Johnson, CEO of Compact Media Group.

“I have been a customer of Octopus TV for several years and have been impressed by its comprehensive service, technology and capability. With their superior offering and a business ethos that is in keeping with our own values of providing excellent service and providing real value to customers it makes perfect sense to endorse them and embark on a mutually beneficial working relationship.”

Andrew Eborn, president, Octopus TV added: “Together, we will enable companies of any size – from the largest broadcasters and distributors to individual producers and sales agents – to enjoy the benefits of a robust and user-friendly solution that will save them time and money when managing and delivering digital files.”
