The international arm of All3Media has recruited Gordon Synn as senior VP, digital and business development.
Synn joins All3Media International having previously been at Shine, where he was global head of digital and home entertainment and oversaw the roll out of its direct to consumer OTT service.
His departure at Shine was announced when Stingray Digital’s Kerry Ball was hired as senior, VP, digital business development in April this year.
In his new role at Discovery and Liberty Global-owned All3, he will oversee the international digital strategy for the distributor’s shows, which include Midsomer Murders, Gogglebox and, for MIPCOM, gameshow format Algorithm.
Prior to Shine, Synn was at Fox, Vodafone and Arqiva.
At All3 he will report to international boss Louise Pedersen. She said: “Expanding our digital activity to monetize and exploit our formats and finished content across multiple platforms continues to be a key focus for our international business and we’re looking forward to working with Gordon to build on our success.”
Synn added: “This is a great opportunity to work with Louise and the team at all3media International to continue to grow the digital revenues, possibilities and innovations.”
