Swedish free and pay TV broadcaster’s TV4 Group’s vice-president, Cecilia Beck-Friis, has been given an expanded role as chief digital officer for parent company Bonnier’s broadcasting activities.
In her new role, Beck-Friis will take charge of digital activities spanning TV4 Group, C More Entertainment, Finland’s MTV and Nyhetsbolaget.
She will be in charge of business development, strategy, technology and digital transformation, while maintaining her current responsibilities within TV4 Group.
Beck-Friis said her first priority in her new role was to develop OTT rights and technology synergies, and look at how the group can best meet the needs of viewers.
