The deal covers the 2015, 2016 and 2017 F1 seasons and will see Sport1 and Sport2 show live coverage of all races and qualifying sessions of the F1 season. F1’s support races, GP2 and GP3, will be broadcast as well.
The deal also includes the exclusive rights for the 19-episode documentary series Formula 1 Legends.
“I am convinced that these premium rights will mark our commitment to the greatest international and national sporting moments. F1 is one of the most attractive sporting events in the world and we will treat it with the deserved attention,” said AMC Networks International Central Europe’s CEO Levente Málnay.
