Viacom International Media Networks has recruited Alan Musa as vice president and commercial director of Nickelodeon and Comedy Central in the UK.
Musa has been president of Shorts International, the Liberty Global-backed short-form movie service, since late last year.
Prior to that he was a Turner executive, joining the company in 1997 and serving as general manager of Turner Broadcasting across Africa, Middle East and Pan Regions from early 2009 until April 2013.
He will start in his Nick and Comedy Central role on September 29. In the position he will work across all commercial activity for Nick and Comedy Central including distribution, branding, ad sales and digital.
