Bonanza Bonanza network relaunches in the UK

Bonanza Bonanza, a UK TV channel dedicated to cult US TV shows from the 1950s and 1960s, has relaunched on Sky and Freesat after going off air earlier this year. 

Broadcast management company Canis Television and Media relaunched Bonanza Bonanza as a permanent channel after an online campaign was launched calling for its return.

Previously the channel was a temporary Freeview service, broadcast on the local TV multiplex across selected parts of the UK.

Bonanza Bonanza has the rights to shows including Beverly Hillbillies, The Lone Ranger, Dragnet, and Flash Gordon. It will broadcast 24 hours a day, though three hours are day will be given over to teleshopping.
