ATX Networks has launched its new, non-licence based, VersAtivePro professional quality transcoding platform.
ATX said that the licence-free structure will give users the freedom to cost-effectively transcode what they want, when they want, and said that the platform was designed to be “the most budget-friendly solution in the professional quality transcoder market.”
VersAtivePro devices will be manageable by ATX’s Video Management System (VMS), which offers centralised control of video services run though VersAtive Pro units, with a single UI for managing multiple units.
ATX Networks offers a broad range of products to the global cable television industry, including video solutions covering transcoding, multichannel and PEG encoding, content streaming solutions, bulk video transition and gateways, RF and optical transmission and RF filters, transmitters and receivers.
ATX Networks will exhibit at IBC on stand 14.G16
