Humax launches sub-£200 YouView box

Humax has launched a YouView set-top box priced at under £200 in the UK, offering what it said is a “seamless on demand TV service at an attractive low price point.”

The £199 box Humax YouView DTR-T2000 box offers 70 live free-to-air digital TV and radio channels – including six in high definition – and can record 300 hours of content in SD or 125 hours in HD.

The box also gives access to the BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand 5 catch-up services and offers record, pause and rewind functionality.
