According to the group, about 10% of homes with HbbTV-enabled sets have used the service. Usage was boosted by public broadcast organsiation MTVA’s launch of HbbTV portal Click in May and the inclusion of additional content during the football World Cup.
Antenna Hungária launched HbbTV services on the MinDig digital-terrestrial pay TV service in October last year. Antenna Hungária has actively promoted HbbTV on the mindigtvplusz.hu site using short animated films to introduce the technology to users.
