Vodafone Germany extends CEO’s run

Vodafone Germany has extended the tenure of current CEO Jens Schulte-Bockum for a further three years to March 31 2018.

The company’s supervisory board unanimously approved the extension of Schulte-Bockum’s contract and confirmed the appointment of Kabel Deutschland executive Andreas Siemen as the company’s new financial director.

Chairman Philipp Humm said Schulte-Bockum had successfully managed the strategic repositioning of the company and the integration of the operator with Kabel Deutschland.

Schulte-Bockum was previously CEO of Vodafone Netherlands. Siemen succeeds Thomas Nowak, who is leaving the company.
