BT tops TV complaints list

BT was by far the most complained-about UK TV service in the quarter to March, according to regulator Ofcom, which said that it received 0.25 complaints per 1,000 BT TV subscribers, five times the industry average.

The main drivers of complaints were service faults, complaints handling and billing issues.

TalkTalk was the next most-complained about TV provider with 0.19 complaints were 1,000 subscribers. Sky and Virgin Media generated a below-average number of complaints, with Sky leading the field with only 0.02 complaints per 1,000 subs.

EE was the  most complained about broadband service provider with 0.42 complaints per 1,000 subscribers, followed by BT, TalkTalk, Virgin Media and Sky in that order.
