Lithuanian service provider Teo has named Andrius Šemeškevičius as its new head of technology and IT.
Šemeškevičius will joint the Teo management team in August and will be responsible for technology development and the management of information systems and infrasrucrture.
Šemeškevičius, a graduate of Vilnius Gedimino Technikos University, previously worked for the Rimi Baltic Group as IT director in the Baltic countries, responsible for IT management at Rimi and the Supernetto/Säästumarket retail chain.
Teo plans to implement a new organizational structure to bring about a greater focus on customer experience in June.
“Teo will give more attention and investment in the development of IT services. I am glad that Andrius will bring to the TEO management team his experience and competences from the IT field. I hope that with him we will be able to focus more on the customer experience, and to offer more technological innovations and solutions that they need,” said Teo general manager Kęstutis Šliužas.
