Tricolor TV launches multiroom offering

Russian pay TV operator Tricolor TV has launched a multiroom offering.

Marketing director Alexander Starobinets told journalists in Moscow that the operator wanted to address the fact that 85% of homes in major cities across the country had two or more TVs.

The service will be available under a unified single subscription, allowing users to make savings on the purchase of separate receivers.

Tricolor will supply two GS Group-supplied HD set-top boxes, with the main box supplying the secondary device via Ethernet.
