Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has begun marketing a new range of high-quality home security cameras to its broadband subscribers.
The operator is offering a home security solution as part of its DomoWizja packages, including an IP-connected camera equipped with a motion detector that records content in HD-quality H.264 video. Images are stored on a secure server whenever the camera registers movement in the home or office in which it is installed. The system also can send an email or SMS when motion is detected. The cameras are also equipped with slots for a microSD card for users to store video footage at home.
The camera can be connected to the subscriber’s router via an Ethernet cable or via WiFi.
DomoWizja is being offered to new customers for PLN14.99 (€3.60) a month, while a premium version is available for PLN19.99. Users must have a minimum internet speed of 12Mbps.
