Virgin and IPKO among SCTE and ANGA’s bursary recipients

Virgin Media and IPKO were among the 20 international cable operators to receive bursaries and from the Society for Broadband Professionals (SCTE) and the Association of German Cable Operators (ANGA).

Granting the bursaries at this year’s ANGA COM conference and exhibition, each bursary winner received a package including pre-paid flights and hotel accommodation for three nights courtesy of the SCTE and entrance to the full conference offering courtesy of ANGA.

“The bursary programme is a great example of our successful and long-term cooperation with the international SCTE, which is headquartered in the UK. In addition to the bursary programme, we have developed a congress panel together for many years. This year’s panel will focus on ‘Multiscreen: Streaming Services Enable Any Content @ Any Screen @ Home,’ a topic that is very relevant to the broadband industry,” said ANGA president Thomas Braun.

The SCTE will be distributing its quarterly Broadband Journal at ANGA COM and can be found exhibiting in hall 10.2, stand G39.
