Verimatrix to showcase VCAS at ANGA COM

Content security specialist Verimatrix will showcase its Video Content Authority System (VCAS) at ANGA COM, and will take part in two events at the expo.

Verimatrix’s VCAS services are designed to address the evolving challenges of pay TV and hybrid video services and offers scalable video security architecture and harmonised rights management for multi-network, multi-screen service delivery.

Among the solutions it will highlight at ANGA COM are: VCAS for Broadcast-Hybrid, a multi-network security solution for IPTV, cable and internet TV; VCAS for DVB-Hybrid, which helps unify broadcast TV with adaptive bitrate streaming for connected STBs and devices including PCs, tablets and smart phones; and the latest release of VCAS for Internet TV, which features download and offline playback functionality.

Verimatrix will also showcase its multi-network solution for Swedish operator Com Hem and the integration of its VCAS security solutions with Access Netfront Living Connect gateway solutions.

At ANGA COM, Verimatrix president Steve Oetegenn will also take part in a panel entitled ‘Multiscreen: Streaming Services Enable Any Content @ Any Screen @ Home,’ alongside executives from Cisco, Arris and Adobe Systems Europe and SCTE (The Society for Broadband Professionals). This will take place at 13:15 on May 22 in room B of Hall 10 of the Koelnmesse.

A day earlier Oetegenn will also participate in the Multi-network Solutions in the Real World Forum to discuss ‘Taking Control of Your Hybrid Network Services’. Also taking part in this discussion will be executives from Ziggo, Kabel Deutschland, Stofa and TiVo. This will start at 08:00 in the Berlin A+B rooms of The Dorint Hotel.
