Vodafone Portugal strikes deal with dstelecom

Vodafone Portugal has struck a partnership with local service provider dstelecom to provide its fixed-line triple services over the dstelecom network.

Vodafone has begun offering its TV, internet and voice services to 44 municipalities in the Alto Minho and Interior Norte regions over the dstelecom network.

Vodafone will begin by rolling out services on dstelecom’s fibre network in Arcos de Valdevez, Paredes da Coura, Ponte da Barca and Tabuaço.

It will ultimately offer its services to 200,000 homes in 79 municipalities on the network.

Vodafone Portugal has said it plans to pass 1.5 million homes with its own fixed network by mid-2015.
