ADB to demo Graphyne TV and UX updates

Software and systems firm ADB is due to debut its new Graphyne TV offering at ANGA COM and show off new functionality for its Graphyne UX user experience framework.

Graphyne TV is a bundled offering featuring the Graphyne UX and ADB’s recently launched multi-screen app environment UnifyTV, and supports linear TV, DVR, on-demand, multi-room, multi-screen and OTT.

“The launch of Graphyne TV gives service providers a complete multi-screen client software solution for the delivery of linear, on-demand, OTT and other services to multiple devices. Graphyne TV enables operators to easily provide exactly the same set of services to all subscribers’ screens, reducing service development costs,” said ADB.

The latest version of Graphyne UX features a global search function and subscriber personalisation with user lists, micro banners, and parental locking synchronised across all the screens in the home. Service providers can also customise the Graphyne user experience to match their own branding.

Graphyne UX is designed to manage and present all media identically – from photos and music to OTT and DVR content – and is designed to deliver the same user experience on all devices, including set-top boxes, HDMI sticks, and Android and iOS tablets and phones.

Since IBC last year, ADB CEO Peter Balchin claims that it has been developing Graphyne, “incorporating feedback and suggestions from service providers while honing the software to deliver enhanced performance, personalisation and customisation.”

ADB will demo Graphyne TV at ANGA COM in hall 10.2, booth K15.
