Skylink shuts off more CryptoWorks channels

M7 Group-owned Czech and Slovak pay TV provider Skylink is moving ahead with its plant to cease encrypting its channels using CryptoWorks’ technology.

From June 30 the pay TV broadcaster will drop the CryptoWorks-encrypted versions of public channels ČT1and ČT2, including their regional variations, ČT Sport, and commercial channels Nova, Nova Cinema, Prima, Prima Cool, Barrandov TV, STV Jednotka, STV Dvojka, Markíza, TV JOJ and JOJ Plus.

According to Skylink, the shutdown will affect fewer than 1% of its customers who have so far failed to heed notices that the services would be terminated. New cards are available for €13.70.
