Swisscom has attracted 30,000 users for its advanced TV platform a month after launch, while its overall TV based passed the one million milestone at the end of the first quarter.
Most of the subscribers for the advanced TV offering were existing Swisscom TV customers according to the company.
Swisscom is offering cloud-based recording as part of the platform, enabling users to record any number of programmes in parallel and to access the recordings on a variety of devices.
Swisscom’s limited 30-hour catch-up window has now been extended to seven days for users of the platform.
The number of Swisscom TV customers grew by 52,000 to reach 1.05 million in the first quarter. The figure was up 192,000 or 22.3% year-on-year.
