Global OTT market set to top US$50bn in five years

The over-the-top TV market globally will grow from US$25.33 billion (€18.27 billion) this year to US$54 billion in 2019, according to research by Markets & Markets.

According to the group’s Over The Top Market by Content, Access Type – Worldwide Forecasts and Analysis (2014-2019) report, North America and the Asia Pacific region will be the biggest markets in terms of revenue contribution.
