Pay TV provider Sky Italia has added four Discovery Communications-owned channels and one from the Feltrinelli Group to its EPG.
The Discovery channels are DMax and DMAx+1, female-skewing crime net Giallo and docs channel Focus, which will take up the 136, 137, 144 and 139 slots, respectively.
The Feltrinelli Group network, laeffe, broadcasts a mix of entertainment, information, auteur films, TV series, travel, design shows and current affairs. It launched in May last year.
The news comes in the same week Sky Italia launches Sky Atlantic HD with a major HBO deal attached.
