SeaChange ups Patibanda to CTO

SeaChange has promoted the general manager of its In-Home business, Shiva Patibanda, to senior vice president and chief technology officer.

Patibanda joined SeaChange in 2010 when the firm acquired VividLogic – a TV set-top box software business that Patibanda founded in 1999.

In his newly created position, Patibanda will direct SeaChange’s technology strategy and contribute to its overall strategic growth initiatives. He will also continue to lead the In-Home division.

The news came as SeaChange reported fourth quarter fiscal 2014 revenue of US$35.6 million (€26 million) and non-GAAP operating income of $0.9 million from continuing operations. Both were down year-on-year with Q4 2013 revenue coming in at US$44.6 million and non-GAAP operating income US$9.5 million.
