Teo restructures management

TEOLithuanian telco and TV service provider Teo’s chief sales officer and chief financial officer are to leave the company as part of a wider organsational restructure.

Chief sales officer Edis Kasperavičius was named as acting head of the sales and customer care division on Friday.  Kasperavičius will hold the new position until July, when he is expected to leave the company, having already decided to end his career with the group.

The company’s finance department will be replaced with a new finance and strategic planning division under Antanas Poška, director of the accounting department. Current chief financial officer Giedrius Vegys’ role will cease to exist as of May 22.

“The customers will become the focus of the company. Therefore, in the new company structure the service development and sales units will be replaced by two new units, creating services and providing customer care to private and business customers accordingly. For customers these changes will mean simpler and more useful solutions, as well as meeting the expectations of customer care better. The new corporate structure will also make it possible to achieve more management efficiency in the future,” said Teo general manager Kęstutis Šliužas.
