Virgin Media appoints former Scripps exec as legal head

Virgin Media has appointed Scripps Networks Interactive’s former senior vice president of commercial and legal affairs for international, Mine Hifzi, as its chief legal officer.

At Scripps, Hifzi also covered business development and commercial strategy and prior to that spent 14 years heading up the international legal and government affairs team at Discovery Communications.

She has also previously worked for Turner Broadcasting Systems Europe and United International Pictures.
