Turkish satellite pay TV provider Digitürk is to expand its broadcast facility with the addition of new equipment from Grass Valley.
Digitürk is deploying a Trinix NXT 192×192 Digital Video Routing Switcher, a new Apex Plus 384×384 Digital Audio Routing Switcher, a Maestro master control system, and a Jupiter Routing Switcher Control, to deliver programming to its satellite platform.
“We have been a Grass Valley customer for many years and have been highly satisfied with the performance and reliability of their products, so it was an obvious choice for us to select Grass Valley for our facility upgrade,” said Umut Akinci, head of broadcast systems department, Digiturk.
“We knew that we could expect more of the same high-quality results from Grass Valley. The support we’ve received, along with the flexibility of our new solutions, have been a great asset to us. This upgrade is a solid investment in our future, and we look forward to working with Grass Valley in the long-term.”
