Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska managed to achieve modest revenue and EBITDA growth last year as it grew its broadband base and made progress towards digital migration.
Multimedia Polska posted revenues of PLN699.2 million (€166.3 million) for the year, up 2%, while EBITDA grew by 1.2% to PLN355.5 million.
Migration of customers from analogue to digital TV services saw TV segment revenue rise by 3.1% to PLN346.8 million.
Broadband internet revenues rose by 7.3% to PLN212.8 million on the strength of a 4.7% rise in RGUs to about 500,000.
Average revenue per unit fell by 4.1%, however, averaging PLN67.85 for the year.
The company had 1.54 million revenue generating units at the end of the year, which it said was more or less flat year-on-year. Multimedia Polska had 826,000 subscribers at the end of December, of which 293,000 were dual-play customers and 127,000 were triple-play customers.
