VimpelCom names Moscow technical chief

Russian service provider VimpelCom, which operates under the Beeline brand, has named Sergey Druzhchenko as technical director for the company’s activities in the Moscow region.

Druzhchenko will be responsible for mobile, fixed-line, wireless and broadband in the region and will be charged with the development of a strategic plan for the modernization of VimpelCom’s networks.

Druzhchenko, who was previoiusly Moscow region technical chief for MTS, replaces Sergey Bauman.
