Russian broadcaster and media company Profmedia has named former Sistema Mass Media president Vladimir Khanumyan as its new chief executive.
Khanumyan replaces Olga Paskina, who is leaving the company.
Gazprom Media agreed to acquire Profmedia – which operates TV channels TV3, Pyatnitsa and 2 x 2, and online service IVI.ru, and which also formerly held the Russian licence to the MTV brand until Viacom reacquired the licence – at the end of last year.
Khanumyan joined Gazprom Media as deputy CEO in February.
